Microsoft and NVIDIA are launching the Agentic Launchpad, a programme built to boost AI innovation across the UK and Ireland. The project is meant to help software companies develop new intelligent systems and scale their platforms faster. The Agentic Launchpad works with both early-stage and scaling software firms building agentic applications or generative AI platforms. The companies taking part can also feature in Microsoft communications, helping them gain recognition and attract investors. According to Microsoft, this mix of mentorship together with exposure and funding opportunities makes the Launchpad an 鈥渆xciting opportunity鈥� for AI-first companies ready to scale their solutions.

What Makes The Programme Different From Past AI Initiatives?

Microsoft said the Agentic Launchpad stands out because of its 鈥渨orld-class support鈥� and direct involvement from both Microsoft and NVIDIA specialists. Participants gain access to technical sessions, credits through Microsoft鈥檚 existing programmes, and help from marketing and sales teams to bring their AI ideas to market faster.

Companies selected for the programme can also attend workshops, summits, and networking events such as the Microsoft AI Tour. These gatherings link founders to investors and industry figures who can help accelerate their growth. Microsoft says that this as a chance for startups to 鈥渏oin a select cohort and benefit from peer support鈥� while connecting with professionals across the AI ecosystem.

The collaboration is backed by NVIDIA鈥檚 Inception programme, which already supports thousands of startups worldwide. Serge Palaric, NVIDIA鈥檚 Vice President for EMEA Hyperscaler and ISV Alliances, said the partnership would give participating UK firms access to NVIDIA鈥檚 Deep Learning Institute training and expert network. He explained that using NVIDIA鈥檚 AI infrastructure would allow software companies to speed up their AI development and boost system performance.

Microsoft said the Launchpad also helps companies promote their agentic and AI apps directly to customers and stakeholders through dedicated marketing campaigns. This marketplace access is expected to help startups expand faster while giving the UK a stronger presence in the global AI economy.
