Jolt, a leading online business school, today announces the launch of a bespoke version of the Government鈥檚 Kickstart scheme it has built with a coalition of high growth businesses. The first cohort of employers, including Bulb, Bloomberg, allplants and OLIO have pledged to create hundreds of highly skilled work placements for unemployed young people. As part of this new programme, Israeli-founded Jolt is providing Kickstarters with an intensive training schedule of live online classes delivering skills and education in areas of business, tech, and employability for the first month of the 6-month scheme. This training has been designed to give employers the confidence that their Kickstarters will have the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth business, whilst giving young people the support and guidance needed to develop skills and qualities to help them thrive in their placements and beyond. Following the training the Kickstarters go on to a high-quality placement with core business skills in place, ready to add value from day one.
Working in partnership with employers to create these roles, Jolt is helping to create a new pipeline of future talent for businesses and providing a pathway to high-skilled, high-quality jobs for unemployed young people. This will provide an essential boost for the UK鈥檚 fastest growing industries, with almost 90,000 live vacancies per week advertised across the digital sector according to Tech Nation.

Acting as 鈥榓dministrator鈥� of the scheme, Jolt has built a flexible model which allows employers to sign up and create roles as many roles as they鈥檇 like to offer at any time, with courses scheduled so that new cohorts of Kickstarters can begin live online training on a regular basis.
