AXA PPP healthcare鈥檚 partnership with Doctor Care Anywhere announces significant additions to its private online GP service, Doctor@Hand, as part of an ongoing commitment to improving patient experience and outcomes.聽
Utilising Doctor Care Anywhere and AXA PPP healthcare鈥檚 complementary expertise in online primary care聽provision and secondary care management, the enhancements will provide a more seamless onward treatment聽process through faster access to diagnostics. Doctor@Hand GPs will be able to refer AXA PPP healthcare聽members for diagnostic investigations where clinically appropriate and within the scope of the client鈥檚 Advance聽corporate healthcare scheme.聽
As well as saving members time by not having to see a specialist ahead of diagnostics, Doctor@Hand will liaise聽directly with AXA PPP healthcare to pre-authorise claims on members鈥� behalf. Diagnostic test results will be聽reviewed remotely by qualified specialists. Results and interactions are recorded and reviewed on a single,聽secure patient record which members and clinicians can access at all times. With a pledge to drive engagement聽and value from its services, Doctor@Hand delivers an integrated communication plan for employers to build聽employee awareness and encourage usage. Members who have provided feedback following a Doctor@Hand聽consultation have rated the service with an NPS of +80.聽

The enhanced service will be available, as part of AXA PPP healthcare鈥檚 Advance corporate healthcare scheme,聽to new business from April 2020 and to all Advance clients renewing from April 2020, with a further roll-out to SME and individual members to follow.聽
