London-based vegan skincare brand Little Danube is changing the way customers use and see personal care products鈥攐ne sustainable soap at a time. The brand鈥檚 launch of six unique nature-inspired soaps, each with its own star ingredient, is about cherishing beauty through the senses and making self-care sustainable.
鈥淭he brainchild behind Little Danube is Katrina Borissova, a philosophy graduate who spent more than 10 years in the corporate world studying accountancy and embracing the business challenges learnt along the way,鈥� writes GS1 UK in a feature on Little Danube. Borissova, craving a creative outlet, enrolled in a soap-making course that sparked her vision of a sustainable, mission-led business committed to environmental ethics.
To facilitate these sensorial stories, each Little Danube soap features a primary ingredient that builds the framework of the soap story.
All of the soaps are non-toxic, scented with natural essential oils, and contain antioxidant-rich, naturally cleansing, stress-relieving properties from plant extracts and materials. The brand鈥檚 packaging is also sustainably produced with eco-friendly tissue paper, recyclable soap boxes, and compostable, plant-based delivery bags.
