The Problem: A Multi-Billion Dollar, Unmanaged Financial Risk
Only in top-tier European football, the cost of injuries exceeds CHF 3.5 billion annually. A single Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear represents a multi-million loss for a club, factoring in salaries, medical costs, team underperformance, and player value depreciation. The current major technological 鈥溾�滲lind Spot鈥濃�� is that existing solutions (GPS, heartrate, etc.) measure external workload but are blind to the internal biomechanical mechanisms that are the direct cause of over 80% of non-contact injuries.
Existing preventive strategies are often ineffective in practice, as they take valuable time, lack individualisation, and increase players鈥� workload, while fatigue itself is another risk factor.
The Solution: Lab-Grade Accuracy, Deployed On-Field
OptiZone bridges this gap with a unique wearable technology. We are the only solution capable of estimating the 鈥溾�漝ynamic knee valgus loading鈥濃�� on the field. No matter the contributing factor, whether stress, fatigue, poor sleep, nutrition, or physical deficits, the mechanism of ACL rupture remains the same: Dynamic Knee Valgus Loading. Our AI-powered platform analyses data from wearable sensors to:
1. Identify high-risk players.
2. Diagnose the source of the risk (e.g., technique, fatigue, muscle strength).
3. Recommend personalised and targeted prevention plans.
