TRANSLATIONS and cryptocurrencies are the top priorities for UK SMBs as the country moves out of Brexit and national lockdown, according to data from Fiverr鈥檚 2021听Small Business Needs Index.
The report 鈥� based on billions of small business searches for freelancer support 鈥� shows queries for translations have skyrocketed by 300% in the last year as small businesses look to grow beyond Britain鈥檚 borders in the wake of Brexit.
And many may be following in the footsteps of Elon Musk鈥檚 Tesla by investing in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin 鈥� as searches for crypto keywords have increased by 99%.

Overall, the听report shows the three of the top areas of growth are:
- Translation:听300% increase in searches for freelance support
- Streetwear Design:听searches for freelance support for streetwear design such as 鈥楥lothing Manufacturer鈥� and 鈥楽EO Shopify鈥� are up by 142%
- Cryptocurrency:听99% increase in searches for freelance support around 鈥楥rypto鈥� and 鈥楤itcoin鈥�

- Twitch emotes, 186%
- Ebay Account, 172%
