Techniclarity teaches female founders just enough tech to start their tech startups. We have an online course, Product Launchpad, which takes you from idea to being ready to work with a development team in 9 modules. And we offer tuition, so every leader of a startup can gain a personalised education into their tech business.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
听
In 2018 I went through an incubator scheme and set up my first startup as CTO. As part of that scheme I met with fellow founders who were also attempting to set up businesses. But I found a common theme between many of the female founders who didn鈥檛 have technical skills. Their lack of tech knowledge meant they were relying on others to bring their idea to life, but they didn鈥檛 really have the skills or knowledge to work with those people for the most business benefit. This lack of know-how was stalling their execution.
As a software developer I know how intimidating tech can be, and with my additional background in education, I know how to break that barrier. So I decided to use these skills to create Techniclarity, a business that teaches female founders the tech know how they need to bring their startup ideas to life. So that no woman with an idea for a tech product will be stalled and so that we may achieve more diversity in entrepreneurship.

What advice would you give to other aspiring entrepreneurs?
听
Techniclarity was started to create long term change 鈥 to equip women with what they needed for the future, not just for now. Which is why Techniclarity is all about education because as a founder grows, so does their business.
And that鈥檚 the advice I鈥檇 give. Always invest in your education. Be that through an online course, a coach or a community. There will always be something new to learn in your business. Therefore becoming a continual learner will lead you to success.

What can we hope to see from Techniclarity in the future?
听
In 2021 Techniclarity will hopefully be partnering with accelerators and incubators to offer support and education to those at the beginning of their tech startup journey鈥檚. I鈥檇 also love to create some in-person events to create more of a community for those just starting out on this journey, but who knows if that will happen this year or in 2022!
