Tweakd is the perfect combination of science and nutrition to boost performance, energy and mood. Tweakd provides tailored frozen meals designed to be 鈥楾weakd鈥� to produce tailored meals to focus on goals.
Most home delivery / pre-prepared meal services, particularly frozen meals are normally mass-produced at low cost. But Tweakd is driven by something much stronger than revenue. Tweakd wants to create change in people鈥檚 attitudes to the way they eat, enhancing their lifestyles.
On average people eat 3,500 meals a year 鈥� every meal is an opportunity to change and improve your body.
Tweakd cooks the product and use their own science to freeze it down, locking in the great taste and nutrients. Customers are able to choose their goals and then Tweakd pulls together a list of appropriate meals. You then tweaked to suit your tastes by picking meals from the list and they are delivered weekly to your door.
Tweakd is for everyone. From wanting to improve your diet or receiving the right nutrition to boost your daily performance or even just want to have quick and delicious meals without the hassle. Tweakd has been founded and backed by two of the leading names in sports nutrition in the UK; Omar Meziane and Michael Naylor, as well as myself and Perry Joseph.
Omar is arguably the #1 chef in the sporting world, working with the England football team, Chelsea FC, Fulham FC, Harlequins rugby, England Cricket and many more. He鈥檚 even worked with the Spice Girls! Omar is working with Mike Naylor, Head of Nutrition at the English Institute of Sport where he supports some of Britain鈥檚 biggest Olympic and Paralympic stars.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
听
Being a professional athlete or a wealthy entrepreneur often means you have access to the best of the best. What you eat, how you feel and what you then go on to achieve are directly linked. Hiring a PT, a personal chef or a nutritionist is expensive and not readily available to the masses 鈥� and we think this is unfair.
For years we鈥檝e been working as expert nutritionists who understand the role food science plays in performance, to create tailored meals targeting specific performance goals. We originally designed these for the world鈥檚 best athletes, poker stars and entrepreneurs who have been performing at their best with our help since then, but we think everyone deserves to benefit. So we鈥檙e bringing high performance food to the masses 鈥� think of us as your own personal nutritionist 鈥� delivering to your door nutritionally balanced meals which can be tweakd and tailored specifically to you and your goal, however large or small.
And we鈥檙e not talking about powders or shakes 鈥� we don鈥檛 see food as fuel 鈥� you鈥檒l want to eat our meals because they taste and look great and will help you be as good as your best day, every day.

What advice would you give to other aspiring entrepreneurs?

Believe in yourself. As Henry Ford famously said, 鈥淲hether you think you can, or think you can鈥檛, you鈥檙e right.鈥� Believe that you can succeed, and you鈥檒l find ways through different obstacles. If you don鈥檛, you鈥檒l just find excuses.
When you are starting out as an entrepreneur, you will inevitably make mistakes some will ultimately cost you thousands of pounds and deprive you of sleep, however, stay true to your vision and desire to create it. Take one step each day that will better tomorrow.

What can we hope to see from Tweakd in the future?
听
Tweakd will be launching in mid-February 2021. We are on a mission to help the world inspire personal positive change through a fusion of great taste and science.
Tweakd is entering one of the fastest growing market sectors in the UK. Whilst not directly comparable it has elements of Meal Kit, Takeaway and Ready Meal Home Delivery Sectors.
In the near future, we will have expanded our product range to include a wider variety of delicious friendly options.
Within the next two years we hope to have achieved significant growth within the UK market and expand geographically. We already have the technology for international expansion in place.
