We started听听because we believed that we could build a world where the only thing that mattered was your skills! One of the inspirations for the idea was the plight of the refugees during the Syria crisis and the fact that some of the highly educated refugees were forced into jobs that didn鈥檛 accurately reflect their skillsets.
The backbone of听Indorse听is the Ethereum blockchain technology. It enables us to make sure that the votes given by our experts cannot be tampered with, we can maintain transparency, and it also helps us incentivise our community of experts.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
听
My background is within software development, machine learning, blockchain, and HRTech. My first business was based on developing diplomas and certificates on the blockchain (Ethereum), and at the time, I thought, 鈥榟ow can I take this a step further鈥; 鈥榟ow can we democratise people鈥檚 professional profiles?鈥 鈥 and blockchain was the best way to do this.
For听Indorse, it has always been about skills 鈥 we started this adventure because we wanted to create a genuinely meritocratic-based system where everyone could shine based on their skills and qualifications. The platform is built on blockchain because of the ability to keep assessments anonymous and inherently fair.

How has the need for听Indorse听evolved during the pandemic?
听
We鈥檝e seen an increased interest in our upskilling solution, as employers are looking for opportunities to future-proof their workforce. Our main customers continue to be large Enterprise companies, and they are consistently in search of innovative ways to reskill and upskill their employees 鈥 which has been fantastic for our business.
While the environment is challenging for everyone, we are hopeful that we will continue to see increased interest in our solutions including solutions that empower businesses to build great tech teams, upskilling their workforce, and enable innovation.
听
What can we hope to see from听Indorse听in the future?
听
We鈥檙e focusing on two avenues as the moment: building and driving hackathons all over the world and building a micro-learning platform.
With regards to the hackathons, we find that these are incredible tools to help bring senior leaders and decision-makers from across the business, technology, and public sectors.
Last autumn, we held a global virtual hackathon focused on听unearthing innovative Blockchain solutions to tackle the challenges posed by the pandemic, which had more than 1200 participants. The winning projects shared more than $43,000 in prizes and sponsors of PCH 2020 included听HM Government of Gibraltar,听RSK, the enabler of smart contracts for Bitcoin,听IOV Labs, the leading bitcoin financial solution provider,听B4H, and听KuCoin.
