I launched my sustainable leakproof nursing bra brand, Lesh in August last year after my own frustrations as a leaky breastfeeding mum.
As a new parent I was dismayed at the amount of waste that having a baby created on the planet – from wipes to nappies to breast pads, the disposable products are never-ending. It’s impossible not to feel guilty and want to take action.
I was constantly waking up soaked and going through boxes and boxes of breast pads that didn’t really work and that’s why I created Lesh – to reduce the 6 million breast pads that end up in landfills every year.
Our bras are the same concept as period pants but for your boobs.
