91̽»¨ has been running monthly competitions since 2020, and the SaaS66 is one that’s been going almost from the very beginning. Every year, we’re seeing the industry change and grow, and that’s what makes SaaS such an interesting part of tech to be working on in 2026.

We’re inviting all SaaS startups, scale-ups and SMEs – regardless of size and valuation – to enter this year’s competition and stand a chance to be featured in an individual write-up.

Founded in 2016, 91̽»¨ is the UK’s best-known and fastest-growing startup and tech news site. This is where decision-makers, investors and startups of all sizes and nature come to find out the latest developments and trends within the industry.

Oluwasesan Kayode Yackson is a senior software and DevOps engineer, entrepreneur, and Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer of ProtonLabs Technology Inc., a UK-based AI company developing practical solutions that simplify complex workflows and improve productivity. After beginning his career as a pharmacist, he transitioned into software engineering, bringing together scientific rigour, cloud infrastructure expertise, and operational leadership.

As Co-founder and COO, Oluwasesan has helped build and scale ProtonLabs’ AI products—including AskYourPDF, Cowriter.ai, Detect.ai, and Simplicity.AI—which collectively serve over 5 million users worldwide. He leads the cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategy behind the company’s products while also overseeing business operations, growth, and strategic partnerships. His experience building and scaling AI solutions used by millions enables him to assess innovation, technical excellence, scalability, and real-world impact.

Dr. Kayode Adedapo Kolawole is a seasoned sales strategist, business development expert and marketing professional with more than 30 years of experience across Nigeria’s manufacturing, marketing and distribution sectors. He is currently Sales Director at Nagode Industries Limited, a member of Afriglobal Group, where he oversees B2B sales and business growth across multiple industries.

Dr. Kolawole began his career in chemical manufacturing as a Production Chemist and Quality Assurance executive before moving into sales, marketing and distribution. He holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Lagos, a PGDM in Marketing and an MBA in Marketing Management. He is also a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and a Certified Management Consultant, and is the author of The Salesperson’s Pocket Guide to Artificial Intelligence.
