About Crunch

Crunch is an online accounting platform for freelancers, contractors, and small businesses who would rather be running their business than wrestling with numbers. Our clever software does the heavy lifting, and our friendly accountants are always just a message or call away. We make tax, invoicing, and bookkeeping simple, so you can spend less time stressing and more time doing what makes you happy.

In 2007, Darren Fell hit a wall with traditional accounting. Endless spreadsheets, hidden fees, and confusing advice left him frustrated. He decided enough was enough. The idea behind Crunch was simple: software that just works, prices that are fair, and real accountants who actually answer your questions without jargon.

Trust was the biggest hurdle in the early days. Could business owners really put their financial lives in the hands of an online service? We proved they could by making accountants fully accessible, building bulletproof security, creating software anyone could use, and focusing on support that felt genuinely human. Another challenge was scale. Many SaaS companies lose the personal touch as they grow. We built a strong in-house accountancy team and kept improving the software so we could serve more clients without losing that human aspect.

Crunch has grown into one of the UK’s most trusted online accounting platforms, supporting over 64,000 users with 99.99% uptime. But for our clients, Crunch is more than software. It is the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone has your back. Every day, our accountants and Client Success Managers help users tackle questions big and small, so they can do less frantic midnight Google searching and finally sleep easy without tax worries.

Crunch has also shaped the SaaS industry itself. We proved online-first accounting could work in a sector long dominated by face-to-face advice, and we set a new standard by blending intuitive software with real human expertise. While many SaaS platforms focus only on automation, we showed that scale does not have to come at the cost of personal care. That approach has seen Crunch recognised in multiple industry awards, including being a finalist for Accounting Tech of the Year at the UK Fintech Awards 2025 and winning Best All-in-One Business Accounting Solution 2025 at the UK Enterprise Awards.

Looking ahead, Crunch is focused on making life easier for the self-employed. Our new payment tool is already helping people get paid faster, and we keep adding smart features and integrations so managing money does not take over the day. Everything we do is designed to help entrepreneurs ditch the unpaid bookkeeper routine and feel more like the bosses they want to be.

Crunch started with one founder’s frustration and has become a trusted partner for thousands across the UK. By blending smart technology with real human expertise and always focusing on making finance simpler, Crunch keeps showing how SaaS accounting can be personal, practical, and made for people who just want to run their business.

About Silverfin

Silverfin is one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS platforms for accounting firms, launched in Belgium in 2013 by founders Joris Van Der Gucht and Tim Vandecasteele. The inspiration came from first-hand frustration with manual tasks like data entry and reconciliations, which highlighted the sector’s need for better automation and cloud-based solutions.

Today, Silverfin serves over 900 accountancy firms—including all of the Big 4—across 16 countries. From its roots as a local startup, Silverfin scaled rapidly by tackling two major industry challenges: fragmented data and inefficient workflows. The initial cloud platform unified client data and automated compliance, transforming accounting teams into more efficient and strategic business partners. Early growth was driven by Silverfin’s integration with over 50 financial software systems, enabling real-time visibility and standardized reporting for thousands of firms and their clients.

The company’s growth accelerated through funding rounds in 2017 and 2020, culminating in a strategic acquisition by Visma for €300 million in September 2023. This partnership expanded Silverfin’s reach, driving innovation across Europe and integrating next-generation AI automation for client advisory, reporting, and compliance products. Milestones include opening new offices in Luxembourg and launching a major collaboration with PKF Global to empower further adoption in accounting firms.

Key achievements include the launch of DocuSign integration for secure electronic signing and workflow automation, the publication of a widely cited report on solving the accountancy sector’s talent crunch with AI, and reaching 50 percent gender equity at the leadership level. These steps illustrate Silverfin’s commitment to inclusivity, efficiency, and technology adoption in a sector often considered traditional and slow to change.

Silverfin’s lasting impact lies in transforming how accounting firms operate: streamlining compliance, centralising financial data, and upskilling teams for cloud-powered client service. The company continues to roll out new automation features and AI-led initiatives, helping firms to reclaim out-of-scope billable hours and unlock smarter insights across entire portfolios. Silverfin’s proprietary platform is at the heart of the sector’s shift to cloud-first, people-driven SaaS, positioning the company as a market leader in fintech innovation.

About Property Assistant AI

Property Assistant was founded in 2025 with a bold vision to transform the property investment sector through innovation and simplicity.

The company was created to address the widespread challenges faced by property teams and individual property investors who were burdened by outdated processes, fragmented systems, and time-consuming administration. By bringing together expertise from property, technology, and operations, the founding team set out to create a modern platform that gives property professionals and investors the clarity, control, and efficiency they need to thrive.

From the very beginning, the focus has been on delivering software that removes complexity rather than adding to it. Property Assistant centralises tasks, automates repetitive processes, and gives property teams and property investors real time insight into their operations.
This approach allows teams and property investors to reclaim time, reduce human error, and deliver a better experience to their clients.

Challenges Overcome

Early adoption required breaking through the traditional mindset of the industry. Many firms are concerned about migrating their data, adapting their workflows, and trusting a new platform. Property Assistant overcame these barriers by designing an onboarding pathway that removes friction and builds confidence. Dedicated customer support, clear communication, and a phased migration approach have helped teams and property investors transition smoothly.

Another major challenge was integrating with a wide variety of legacy systems. The company developed a highly flexible architecture that can connect with existing software, allowing teams to maintain continuity while modernising their operations. This commitment to compatibility became a key differentiator and built trust among early users.

Impact on the SaaS Industry

Property Assistant has demonstrated that industry specific SaaS solutions can outperform generic alternatives. By tailoring workflows, automating everyday processes, and prioritising user centred design, the company has shown that software can adapt to the way property teams and property investors work rather than forcing teams to adapt to the software.

The platform has also raised standards across the sector by embedding robust data governance, security, and analytics. It has encouraged other SaaS providers to focus on transparency, measurable outcomes, and user experience.
Property Assistant has helped property teams and property investors operate more efficiently, grow their portfolios, and improve profitability while maintaining a high standard of client care.

Looking Ahead

Property Assistant continues to expand its reach and develop innovative features that redefine what property technology can deliver. With a clear mission to simplify, streamline, and elevate property management, the company is shaping the future of SaaS within the property sector.

About Squirro

Squirro was founded in 2012 with the vision of helping businesses move beyond data overload and harness the full potential of AI. While enterprises had invested heavily in digital systems, they struggled to connect fragmented data, understand its context, and apply it to decision-making. Our founding team set out to solve this by creating a SaaS platform that combines generative AI, knowledge graphs, and semantic search to deliver meaningful insights directly into business workflows.

From our headquarters in Switzerland, we have grown into a global company with offices in London, New York, Munich and Singapore. Building trust in AI adoption was one of our early challenges, especially in industries like financial services and government where data privacy, governance, and explainability are paramount. We overcame this by designing solutions that are enterprise-ready, secure, and seamlessly integrated into existing systems.

Today, Squirro is trusted by leading organisations worldwide, including the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, Standard Chartered Bank, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation, and Henkel. Our technology helps them unlock insights for risk management, customer engagement, asset management, and operational optimisation, all powered by context-aware generative AI.

Our contribution to the SaaS industry lies in bringing practical, enterprise-grade AI applications to market well ahead of the hype cycles. We have shown that generative AI can be used as a tool for augmenting human intelligence. Our Insight Engine, recognised by Gartner, is a proven example of how AI can be responsibly embedded into daily decision-making. By connecting structured and unstructured data, applying knowledge graph technology, and generating context-specific answers, we provide clarity in complex environments where decisions matter most.

Innovation has always been central to our growth. We continue to invest heavily in R&D, advancing natural language processing, retrieval-augmented generation, and domain-specific AI models tailored to industries like banking, life sciences, and manufacturing. Importantly, we have been pioneers in Responsible AI, ensuring our clients benefit from transparency, fairness, and governance alongside performance.

Looking ahead, Squirro is scaling its global partnerships with system integrators and expanding its client base across the UK and Europe. Our mission is to democratise access to enterprise-grade AI by making it intuitive, secure, and impactful for every organisation.

What makes Squirro tick is our belief that AI should empower, not replace. By contextualising information and delivering insights where they are needed most, we enable people to make smarter decisions, serve customers better, and seize opportunities for growth in an increasingly complex world.

About Taxd

Four years ago, Arjun Kumar and Eamon Shahir, former PwC qualified accountants, took a leap of faith to co-found Taxd. Driven by a passion for financial accessibility and a deep understanding of tax complexities, Arjun aimed to simplify the daunting process of tax filing for the average UK taxpayer.

Leaving behind the stability of an accountancy career was daunting but Arjun and Eamon believed they were onto something. The UK’s complex tax system and lack of financial education often leave individuals overwhelmed, opting for either expensive accountants or a stressful DIY approach, prone to errors and they knew Taxd could be the solution.

Taxd offers a user-friendly, affordable solution that empowers taxpayers to file their returns efficiently and accurately. By automating much of the process and providing expert guidance, Taxd significantly reduces the time and cost associated with tax preparation. This is particularly beneficial for expats, who can save substantial sums compared to traditional international tax services.

A unique feature of Taxd is its ability to identify potential tax relief opportunities, maximising savings for users. To build trust in a relatively new field, Taxd combines cutting-edge technology with human expertise, offering a hybrid approach that ensures both efficiency and accuracy.
Initially focused on personal tax returns, Taxd has expanded its services to cater to solo entrepreneurs and small limited companies, serving 10,000 customers. To support this growth, the team has scaled to ten full-time members.

Arjun and Eamon’s innovative approach has revolutionised the tax industry, levelling the playing field for individuals of all income levels. By democratising access to professional tax advice, Taxd is empowering taxpayers to take control of their finances and achieve greater financial well-being. It’s more than a tech startup; Taxd is a movement empowering individuals to take control of their finances.

About GuideGeek

GuideGeek is the leading AI platform for travel brands and has launched custom AI tools with more than 50 destinations around the world over the past year.

Whether building an itinerary or navigating on the ground, travellers receive real-time guidance in 50 languages tailored to their interests, group size and needs. GuideGeek’s conversational AI SaaS is built on ChatGPT and integrates over 1,000 additional trusted data sources along with parent company Matador Network’s vast travel data and extensive destination-specific content to provide personalised, conversational recommendations.

Successful partnerships with leading destination marketing organisations (DMOs) such as Marketing Greece and the German National Tourist Office (GNTO) demonstrate the platform’s ability to adapt to complex regulatory environments while delivering measurable impact for some of Europe’s most competitive tourism markets.

In Greece, GuideGeek powers Pythia, Europe’s first national-level AI travel assistant. Available via DiscoverGreece.com and WhatsApp, Pythia integrates Marketing Greece’s content with GuideGeek’s expansive dataset. It offers planning support and in-trip discovery, highlighting both iconic landmarks and lesser-known gems across the country.

“We know a little bit more about destinations in Greece than other sources on the internet and go into real depth as far as the actual visitor experience, whether that’s the best things to do when you’re at a destination, local tips or what beach is best suited for kids or water sports,” says Panos Kokkalis, digital products manager of Marketing Greece. “We’re very pleased with how Pythia prioritises this kind of information from our website and weaves in other data sources as needed to provide instant and complete answers to any question travellers might have.”

In Germany, GuideGeek underpins Emma – Your AI Guide to Germany, created with the GNTO to engage American and international travellers. Accessible on WhatsApp and Facebook, Emma offers highly personalised suggestions that go far beyond the typical highlights, focusing on cultural immersion, gastronomy and nature.

“We pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking, technology-focused destination marketing organisation,” says Ricarda Lindner, Regional Manager for the Americas and Director of the Foreign Representative Offices USA at German National Tourist Office. “Artificial intelligence has clearly had a breakthrough in the past couple of years, and we are thrilled to be using the latest generative AI tool to engage travellers in planning an unforgettable, perfectly tailored trip to Germany.”

Both partnerships highlight GuideGeek’s ability to deliver innovation, compliance and value to travel brands. The platform offers robust multilingual capabilities, intent recognition and scalable infrastructure that meets EU data protection standards. For end users, the result is a seamless, engaging travel companion that makes destinations more accessible and experiences more memorable.

GuideGeek embodies the qualities the SaaS66 celebrates: bold vision, excellent 3x3cution and tangible impact. Its work with Greece and Germany shows how SaaS can drive real transformation in legacy industries by strengthening connections between destinations and their visitors. GuideGeek is defining what is possible for the travel industry with AI — and setting a high bar for SaaS innovation across Europe and beyond.

Zoominfo

About ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo started as DiscoverOrg in 2007, founded by Henry Schuck and Kirk Brown. Then in 2019, DiscoverOrg bought ZoomInfo and rebranded everything under the ZoomInfo name, becoming a major Go-to-Market (GTM) Intelligence platform player. The platform helps businesses grow faster by combining exceptional data, AI, and automation in one convenient workspace to give sales and marketing teams a full picture of their customers.

Pivot to Outbound: Gartner says traditional website traffic or “inbound” strategy that worked for a decade is falling apart. About 30-40% of inbound traffic is just disappearing. Analysts are calling it a major business risk. This means sales teams need to rethink how they get leads. But outbound sales have always been inefficient.

Money down the drain: Boston Consulting Group points out that typical sales and marketing efforts can waste a massive $2 trillion in extra costs and lost sales. It’s not about effort or intent; it’s about actually getting things done.

Reps chase bad accounts, waste time on crummy data, and spend hours on boring admin instead of selling. Even AI “assistants” haven’t fixed it – they just suggest what to do, they don’t actually do it.

What ZoomInfo brings:

  • Easily plugs into other systems. ZoomInfo made sure it could seamlessly connect with CRM systems, marketing automation, and sales engagement tools. It combines scattered customer data so everyone’s on the same page.
  • Strong privacy controls to meet GDPR and CCPA standards.
  • Automated systems and human researchers, to make sure their business contact info is accurate, complete and up-to-date. They offer a 360-degree view of buyers, who they are, what they need, and when to talk to them.
  • Built for people and ready for AI “agents.” Gives AI clean data to do the heavy lifting, freeing up humans.
  • Smart agents don’t just give advice – they actually do things. Copilot finds your best opportunities, spots in-market buyers, beefs up info on entire buying committees, and even writes outreach messages automatically.
  • Sales teams can focus on what matters: talking to buyers who are already interested, with info that helps close deals.

Supporting SaaS:

  • Made top-level sales intelligence available to companies of any size. This changed how businesses find and get leads, shifting from relationships to being data driven.
  • Helped create and grow the Revenue Operations (RevOps) role by providing unified data that connects sales, marketing, and customer success teams. This is standard practice in SaaS now.
  • Ahead of the curve by letting people embed sales intelligence right into their existing workflows through strong API integrations. This influenced how other SaaS companies design their platforms for smooth data flow.
  • Set the bar for how businesses collect, store, and use contact and company data, creating industry benchmarks for data quality.
  • ZoomInfo helped define and expand the GTM intelligence category, which is now a multi-billion dollar market within the broader SaaS world.
  • By giving detailed info about company tech and other firmographics, ZoomInfo made more sophisticated account-based marketing and sales possible. This completely changed how SaaS companies find and target potential customers.

About Stripo

Stripo is an all-in-one email design platform that combines an HTML and CSS code editor. It enables users to quickly build emails of any complexity and provides all the essential tools to create modern, interactive emails with ease.

Stripo revolutionises email production, cutting time investment by at least 3.7 times. With over 1,600 professional email templates, users can quickly find the perfect design for any occasion. The platform’s modular email design allows the creation of reusable elements, reducing the need for constant email tests.

When Dmytro Kudrenko founded Stripo, he had already been in email marketing for 10 years and identified a significant problem: email marketers often struggled to make HTML emails look great on different email clients and devices. While coding was essential, many marketers didn’t have these skills.

From the beginning, the Stripo team designed the editor with the vision that it should be intuitive and adaptable for other vendors, including ESPs (Email Service Providers), CDPs (Customer Data Platforms), and more. This flexibility allows them to customise Stripo’s functionality to meet their unique needs. For users seeking faster and more efficient email creation, Stripo focuses on seamless one-click integrations.

Today, Stripo is widely integrated with more than 90+ ESPs and email clients, including Mailchimp, HubSpot, eSputnik, Outlook, Gmail, etc.

Founded in 2017 and fully bootstrapped, Stripo generated around $4.8M in 2024, serving over 1.5 million users.

The development of Stripo’s first version was challenging due to limited resources. However, the product was offered for free at the start, with a focus on providing value rather than seeking immediate financial returns. The objective was to ensure the product consistently delivered value to users. After confirming its effectiveness, a paid plan was introduced nine months later to cover the monthly expenses of approximately $20,000. The pricing strategy was designed to offer competitive functionality rather than focusing on being the cheapest option, attracting users who valued quality and features over price alone.
